Logitech Extreme PC Gaming Headset (980233-0403) Review
Looking online I've come to realize just how difficult it is to find a good headset that "just works". This is, in my limited experience" the best I've used. I'm sure there are better out there, but price to performance, this is pretty darn good. The connection is pretty basic, there are two jacks, one for the headphone and the other for the mic. the mic is pretty solid once I got it properly set up, and the headphones are as good as standalone headphones in this price range.
As far as comfort, these were a little tight on my ears, but I could bear through it. When I'd take them off after a long session I definitely felt it.
The big issue is the quality of the wire and the connection to the computer. I have to say that, at this price, these did the job. They still feel flimsy, but they survived over a year of regular use. Its a shame I took them out after a big move and a few months of sitting idle to have the mic die on me.
